Abstract

The author chose to undertake an internship mainly to gain real-world experience. Thailand was selected as the destination for this internship due to its leadership in the hospitality sector within Southeast Asia. Located at Karon Beach, Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, stands out as a premier five-star resort. Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket owns two restaurants that serves different kind of food, whereas Cove Restaurant serves Thai, Indian and International cuisine and Coast Beach Club and Bistro serves mainly Italian cuisine. Making this resort a great place to study a lot of cuisines and gain a real-world experiences. Through this 6 months internship program, the author had the opportunity to experience working in a professional environment. The author also got to develop and improve so many skills.
