Abstract

Currently, there are many restaurants serving Italian cuisine in Indonesia, but not all of them serve a fusion menu between an Italian menu and an Indonesian menu. It is very easy for us to find and order what we want from restaurants, cafes, bazaars, and culinary events in Indonesia through the internet and social media. As an Indonesian citizen, I am very proud of what we have, and I really like Italian dishes, especially pasta. it all started when I was 9 years old and my mother made me a “macaroni schotel” dish, that's when I started liking and interested in Italian cuisine and asked my mother to cook other pasta dishes. when I was growing up I tried to understand and learn about the taste and how to make pasta, until when I met a chef from Italy who lives in Makassar Indonesia and has his own small restaurant, I often visit his restaurant, he too once held a cooking class and I took part in participating, it was an amazing first experience for me.
