Abstract
During the last semester, writer had to take internship programme. Internship used for gaining new experience and knowledge in culinary. Writer had chosen five stars hotel as internship place because many things could be found there especially the real working environments. That develop writer’s soft skills and hard skills. Internship started from January 4th until July 3rd and Sheraton Surabaya Hotel and Towers had chosen. It has been known that Sheraton Surabaya Hotel and Towers is one of the famous hotels at Surabaya and they had established since a long time ago. Having 6 months there, writer had a lot of opportunity learning at hot kitchen and pastry kitchen, serving dishes for ala carte and events. First experience means a new challenge, that was what writer think while was doing internship. Despite all the above, writer feels lucky to have had an internship, learning from the bottom and from first hand adding writer experiences in F&B business field
