Abstract

Internship is a vital stage of culinary training, offering firsthand exposure to the demands and standards of the fine dining industry. This internship was completed at Le Pré by Xavier Beaudiment, a prestigious two-Michelin-star restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The internship focused on supporting various sections of the kitchen, where responsibilities included preparing dishes, handling fine ingredients, and ensuring consistency in presentation and flavor. Through this role, practical skills such as precision, creativity, and attention to detail were strengthened, alongside essential techniques in French cuisine. Collaborating closely with a professional team highlighted the importance of discipline, communication, and efficiency in a high-level kitchen environment. This experience not only deepened the understanding of Michelin-starred restaurant operations but also enhanced adaptability and problem-solving skills, serving as a solid foundation for future growth in the culinary profession.
