Abstract

The goal of this internship is to increase cooking skill, learn teamwork, and gain knowledge of management kitchen. Bowery Restaurant has been opened sinced January 3, 2017 and one of the recommend restaurant in Semarang. With a 20s concept that stand out of luxuries and classic interior. Bowery Restaurant focus on serving Mediterranean cuisine such as tagliatelle au poulet, boeuf wellington, escargot, crepes suzette, and steak tartare. During the internship the author learn a lot during Bowery Restaurant. The author also involved in a variety of tasks, including food preparation, kitchen organization, ingredient handling and maintaining hygiene and safety protocols. This internship is a great experience for the author to observe the operation and gain soft skill before entering work life. The author recommends doing internship in Bowery Restaurant because the author gain knowledge and experience that can not get anywhere else in Bowery Restaurant.
