Abstract
All the students were required to do the 6 months internship to finish their Diploma Programs. The writer chooses Mandarin Oriental as their place for learning, improving, growing skills, take responsibility and commitment. This program gives the writer a lot experience like knowing the real work in hospitality industry. During the 6 months internship program, they taught the author really strict HACCP, Hygiene, and SOP, how to handling food, prepare and wash the ingredients, handling customers, teamwork, and the most important things in kitchen is time management. They also gave the writer a big opportunity to learn by doing. This programs really meaningful to the writer because it can help expanding friends and chance to work in the bigger hospitality.
