Abstract
Star Anise is an Asian Fusion restaurant that offers a modern interpretation of Asian Cuisine. Asian Fusion is a newer type of cuisine that is a growing trend. A new interpretation where culinary creations feature myriad Asian influences with contemporary twist by introducing our innovative take on traditional flavours and spices for an immersive dining experience. With original offerings, Star Anise Restaurant uses a striking and unique approach to its menu, combining fresh produce and fine ingredients from several Asian countries. Discover a menu that is ripe for the picking and welcomes us into the prosperous gastronomic journey through its vibrant flavors, carefully-curated ingredients by our best Chefs. Expect quality ingredients, cross-cultural culinary techniques, and a party in the mouth at Star Anise Restaurant. Star Anise is a new expression of Asian fusion cuisine. As an avenue that boasts the produce Surabaya has to offer, the restaurant is engaged in a deeper conversation with local farmers, fishermen, and fishery ports. It is an exploration of age-old recipes, and an expression of local flavors and food memories. Here, food is a philosophy – re-imagining, re-interpreting, and re-presenting signature dishes from across the continent along distinct flavor vertices.
