Abstract

Internship is an opportunity, offered by an employer to potential employees. It offers a period of practical experience that can never be learnt at lessons, it is a great opportunity not only to learn skills and gain experience, but also to determine whether one has a particular interest in a career and create a network of contacts. Graduate job surveys suggest that almost half of all graduate employers hire at least 20% of their ex-interns for graduate jobs and training schemes. Because ex-interns require less training, it appeals more to employers. This Internship is a way a student can gain more experience to use later in the working world. This internship is just a stepping stone to further our career. From this internship we can not only train our skills as a chef but our physical and mental capabilities too. In college there’s no book that teaches you how to handle breakfast for 1800 people. This internship will be a big step towards having our dream job. During this internship, I was assigned to three different kitchens, which are as the following, the prego kitchen, the breakfast kitchen and the hamabe kitchen. In tis report, the way of working in those kitchens will be described in more detail because of experience that has been dealt with in those partcular kitchens
