Abstract

Drinks are a necessity for humans to survive. Humans can survive without food for about 3 weeks, but cannot survive a week without water. This means that people drink more than they eat. As time goes by, new variety of foods are born. There are sweet, bitter, sour, and spicy. This development gives birth to new kinds of variants in the food industry, but the drink industry does not see the same amount of development. Looking at this opportunity, the writer decides to create something that might help ignite the reader’s creativity and persuade them to participate in developing new kind of drinks. In this research, the reader decided to use pecel as an example of a flavor that is not commonly known to be made into drinks. The writer uses a collaboration of the traditional basic ingredients of pecel with a rather modern way to process food in order to create the pecel bubble tea. There will be 3 steps in doing this research, which is preparation, mixing, and packaging. And after the packaging, it is best to drink it right away as the taste of herb and spice becomes enhanced overtime and overcome the taste of milk, cream, and sugar.
