Abstract

Vasa Hotel Surabaya is a 5-star hotel with the most luxurious modern lifestyle hotel concept in Surabaya. This hotel is strategically located and close to government offices, companies, and various famous tourist attractions in Surabaya.The author chose to do a six-month internship in the pastry department. This department is divided into two, namely bakery and pastry. The author chose to be part of the pastry trainee because he was interested and wanted to learn more about the world of pastry. By completing a six-month internship, the author gained so much valuable experience that provided technical and non-technical lessons. The pastry department serves all outlets in this hotel, such as 209 Dining, Chamas Brazilian Churrascaria, Xiang Fu Hai, Nagano, Voda Bistro, and Bonne Journe.
