Abstract
The aim of the author's internship is to gain practical and real experience in a kitchen work environment and improve insight and ability in cooking and serving food. Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers is a 5 star hotel that has been established since 1996 and is globally renowned for its high standards in the field of hospitality and culinary excellence and accepts interns as employees for 6 months. At Sheraton Surabaya there are 6 sections, namely all day dining section, banquet section, cold section, butcher section, bakery & pastry section and dimsum section. The author had the opportunity to intern in the all day dining section and dimsum section where during the internship in both sections the author gained a lot of valuable experience and lessons.
